Part 1 of the message focused on 4 major texts of the scripture namely:

Psalm 45:1-2. The Keywords are heart, tongue and lips. The heart and mouth are inseparable because our Salvation involves both, Romans 10:8-10.

Proverbs 16:23. Keywords – heart, mouth and lips.

Isaiah 50:4-5. Keywords – the tongue and the ear.

Ephesians 6:18-20. Three related words – utterance, mouth and speaking boldly (not the same thing as shouting).

He who establishes his argument by noise and command shows that his reason is weak – Michel de Montaigne.

Based on the above texts of the Scriptures it was established that the master key is Effective Communication.

Arising from the established conclusion the three questions stated below came up.

It is important to note that usually when questions are asked it is not for the reason of doubt of what was said or heard, but for the need for clarity.

The Questions
Effective Communication is a skill which may be natural or learned. It is not the exclusive preserve of the Church.

Whilst Effective Communication is an essential tool for achievement in any endeavour, does its result suffice to highlight it as explanatory to or equitable to the Key of David?

Even among Believers, it will seem that Revelation 3:7-13 presents a reward to a set of persons who meet specific conditions. In this passage, he who has the Key of David was making a promise to him who overcomes.

It could therefore seem that the Key of David is more exclusive and contingent upon certain conditionalities than effective communication. Will it not then appear that effective communication is too general or broad a term to describe a concept so conditional or exclusive as the Key of David?

Historically, Effective Communication has been deployed for tyrannical depth of evil and even romantic relationship manipulation. How does one explain this as being the Key of David?
Since the Key of David is possessed by Christ and released to those who keep His Words, who have not denied His Name and have overcome.

The person who asked the question proffered his own definition of the Key of David as:

Effective Communication of the Oracles of God from the heart of a man or woman after God’s heart operating in the Name and Authority of Christ to turn the kingdom of this world over to our God and His Christ.

Another reason behind the conclusion of the person was that in medieval times the key of a city was handed over to a person as a metaphor for unfettered access to a City or on its capture by an invading army like Joab, 2 Samuel 5:6-8.

Response
This is not the only way to gain access to a City. Another way to gain access to a City or Nation is through accurate people speaking appropriate words to the gate and everlasting doors of the City and gate.

This was demonstrated by the King of Glory in Psalm 24:3-10. Of note in this passage is the mention of Jacob, a man worked upon by God in order to become pure and right.

It is important to also note that demands for access code and acceptable words were made twice before the gate opened as the King of Glory responded that He is the Lord of Hosts meaning that He was not coming alone.

The Key of David is not the Effective Communication of the Oracles of God and it is not what is needed to turn the kingdom of this world into the Kingdom of God and His Christ.

The biblical meaning of the Oracles of God is an utterance made or received as authoritative, extremely wise and infallible, 1 Peter 4:10-11.

The turning of the kingdom of this World to our God and His Christ had already been accomplished when the 7th Angel sounded in Revelation 10:1-7, Revelation 11: 15.

Our assignment is to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom as a witness to all Nations, Matthew 24:14.

Two lines run through the 3 valid Questions.

A conclusion is that Oracle’s prowess is the same as Effective Communication.

That the Key of David is the exclusive preserve of the Church.
Oratory skill is the art of public speaking, especially formally and eloquently.

Eloquent speech is not Effective Communication if it is not based on Truth. The case of Apollos, Acts 18:24-28 and his disciples, Acts 19: 1-7 explains this.

They were limited in revelation.

Oratory skill is not the same thing as Effective Communication.

If such speech by an orator is considered effective, it is characterized by the use of phrases that appeal to emotion.
Apostle Paul referred to that as enticing words of man’s wisdom, 1 Corinthians 2:1-5.

Effective Communication is the process of exchanging ideas, thoughts, opinions, knowledge and data so that the message is understood with clarity and purpose.

“Effective Communication can be learned”.

Key to effective communication:
-Choose your words.
-Listen to what others say
-Consider your tone, inflexion and body language.
-Write less and say more.
-Know when to stop.

The 7 Cs of Effective Communication.
-Clear
-Correct
-Complete
-Concrete
-Concise
-Consider
-Courteous

Except grace is poured upon our lips and God has given you the tongue and the ear of the learned as well as understanding heart you cannot deploy Effective Communication, though you may be an Orator. Without such qualities what you have is deceptive or destructive communication like that of Adolf Hitler and Mussolini who spoke false and evil words.

False words are not only evil in themselves but they infect the soul – Socrates.

Colossians 4:6 provides a biblical definition of Effective Communication.

For clarity, the following is not an exclusive preserve of the Church. They are of general application.

Faith, Matthew 8:5-13.

Righteousness and integrity, Genesis 20:1-11. Uriah the Hittite demonstrated this, in 2 Samuel 11:6-16.

Sowing, reaping and the law of the harvest, Genesis 8:22, Galatians 6:6-10.

Daily application of wisdom, Luke 16: 1-8.

The outpouring of the Spirit, vision, dream, interpretation of dream prophecy, Joel 2:28-32

The gift and calling of God which are without repentance can be misused by those who received them, Ezekiel 28:11-19.

God does not send His rain to the house of the Righteous only, Matthew 5:43-45.

Points To Ponder
If you do not believe that the Key key of David is Effective Communication read 2 Samuel 16:18

To be prudent in speech is to master Effective Communication and know how to deploy it, Psalm 45:1-7.

Truth, humility and righteousness are ingredients of effective communication.

Ephesians 4: 29 is applicable to everyone.

Effective communication is a tool in prayer life, James 5:13-18.
